Voorzijde:
Naar links gericht borstbeeld van Leopold III, in militair uniform. Rechts het gekroonde monogram van Leopold III. De voorstelling is omgeven door een laurierkransrand. Bovenaan een vast oog met ring voor draaglint.

Keerzijde:
Krans van eikenbladeren, samengebonden onderaan. In het midden een cirkel met het opschrift:

DE LA DÉPOUILLE
CONCOURS
