Obverse: Bust of Honorius right, pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed, a star
behind head.



Reverse: The two emperors Theodosius II and Honorius, standing facing each
other, each holding spear with outer hand and resting on shield with inner hand,
supporting a globe between them.

Mint and officina mark in exergue.Flavius Honorius was born in A.D. 384, the
second son of Theodosius I and Aelia Flacilla. He was made Augustus by his
father in 393, and two years later, he became emperor of the Western Roman
Empire. Honorius was a weak ruler, allowing his generals, ministers, and even
his sisters to run the Empire. This was the beginning of the end of the Empire.
Honorius died in 423.
