 Перед Вами статья старшего хранителя нумизматического отдела Императорского Эрмитажа, Юлия Богданович Иверсена, посвятившего свою жизнь исследованию русских медалей. За многочисленные труды в области изучению русских медалей Юлий Иверсен был избран в члены-корреспонденты Археологической комиссии.
 
 В статье представлены медали из минц-кабинета Ю. Иверсена, которые были выставлены во время второго археологического съезда, проводившегося в Санкт-Петербурге в 1871 году.
 
 Большая часть этих медалей уже была описана в других печатных изданиях Ю. Иверсена, таких как:
 1) «Медали, пожалованные Екатериной II некоторым лицам Донского войска»
 2) «BeitragzurrussischenMedaillenkunde»
 3) «Медали на деяния Петра Великого»

 Before you become a senior curator of numismatic department of the Imperial Hermitage, Julia Iversen , who has devoted his life to the study of Russian medals. For many works in the field of study of Russian medals Julius Iversen was elected a corresponding member of the Archaeological Commission.
 
 The article presents the Medal of Mintzcabinet, which were exhibited during the second Archaeological Congress, held in St. Petersburg in 1871.
 
 Most of these medals have already been described in other publications J. Iversen, such as:
 1) "Medals granted to certain persons by Catherine II of Don troops"
 2) "Medals for acts of Peter the Great"
 
 However, these coins are considered in this article, with reference to publications which can be found on their full attention. Those medals were not previously described in this article have received a more detailed description.
