Scarce silver beshlik of Saadet IV Giray (1717-24), Bagchesaray, Jochid Mongols
Tamgha in circle, mint and date around // Ruler’s name and titles. 16mm, 0.83 grams. Bagche-Saray mint. Numista 111316; KM 19a; cf. Zeno 251548.
Also sometimes referred to as Saadet III.
The Giray dynasty traced its lineage to Togay-Timur, one of Jochi's sons (or grandsons, depending on sources), which placed them within the Borjigin royal house - the same Mongol imperial clan as Genghis Khan.
