Issued by the Farmers' & Exchange Bank of Charleston, South Carolina, $10 denomination featuring a naval scene, dated August 2, 1856. Rare pre-Civil War note. This one is a problem-free attractive note, good edges, a few minute pinholes.
From an old US collection, the collector paid 165$ for it at some point judging from the collection ticket.
