§1 Preliminary Provisions

1. The online store Antykwariat Numizmatyczny Karol Karbownik (hereinafter referred to as the Store or Seller) is operated by Antykwariat Numizmatyczny Karol Karbownik, located at Powstancow Slaskich 89a/224, 01-355 Warszawa, Poland.

2. The Store operates as a third-party vendor within the domain www.MA-Shops.com (hereinafter referred to as the Website), owned by MA-Shops GmbH, Lankerner Str. 42, 46395 Bocholt, Germany.

3. The Store offers products for sale in accordance with §3 of these Terms of Sale and is solely responsible for order processing and shipping, as detailed in §§4 and 5.

4. Any private individual or business placing an order through the Store becomes a customer (hereinafter referred to as the Client or Buyer) and, by doing so, accepts the rights and obligations set forth in these Terms of Sale.

§3 Listings

1. The Store offers a curated selection of rare and important ancient and modern coins, medals, tokens, banknotes, militaria, books, and other collectible items.

2. All prices listed include applicable value-added tax (VAT) and are presented as gross prices.

3. All items are guaranteed to be authentic unless stated otherwise in the product description.

4. Photographs provided in the listings represent the actual items offered for sale unless explicitly noted otherwise.

5. Item descriptions and condition grades reflect the Seller’s subjective assessment, unless the item has been professionally graded by a recognized certification service (e.g., NGC, PCGS).

6. Product descriptions are provided in good faith; however, the Seller reserves the right to correct any errors. In case of doubt regarding an item’s condition, authenticity, or description, clients are encouraged to contact the Seller prior to purchase.

§4 Orders

1. Orders are accepted automatically and processed on business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the following business day.

2. Payment must be made within 7 days of placing the order, unless an extension has been agreed upon with the Seller in advance.

3. Orders will be shipped within 5 business days of the Seller receiving payment.

4. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order at their discretion. In such cases, the Buyer will be notified and any payments received will be refunded.

5. Orders may be modified or cancelled by the Client prior to shipment. All changes or cancellations must be confirmed via telephone or email.

6. A VAT invoice will be issued upon request by the Buyer.

§5 Shipping

1. Unless otherwise stated, items exceeding a value of 16,000 PLN may only be exported from Poland with the appropriate permit, as regulated by the Polish Act of 23 July 2003 on the Protection of Cultural Heritage, as amended on 18 March 2010. The Buyer is solely responsible for obtaining such permits; the Seller does not mediate in this process.

2. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.

3. The Buyer is also responsible for any additional costs that may arise during international shipping, including customs duties and import taxes.

4. Orders paid via PayPal will be shipped to the address associated with the PayPal account used for the transaction.

5. The Seller is liable for lost shipments only up to the insured value as determined by Poczta Polska or the respective shipping provider.

§6 Right of Withdrawal

1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from a purchase without providing a reason within 14 days of receiving the order, by submitting a formal withdrawal statement to the Store.

2. Refunds will be issued to the Buyer’s bank account within 14 days of receiving both the returned item(s) and the withdrawal notice.

3. The Buyer bears the cost of return shipping in the event of withdrawal.

4. If the returned item is damaged or the withdrawal is deemed unjustified, the Buyer is liable for any resulting costs.

§7 Privacy Policy

1. Personal data provided by Clients is collected solely for the purpose of operating the Store and conducting business.

2. Clients have the right to access, correct, and request the cessation of processing their personal data at any time.

§8 Final Provisions

1. Any matters not covered by these Terms of Sale shall be governed by the applicable provisions of the Polish Civil Code.

2. All inquiries, feedback, or correspondence should be submitted using the "Ask a Question" button available on the Website.

3. These Terms of Sale shall come into effect on 6 June 2025.
