RARE and ONE-YEAR issue.
Extremely RARE on ANY auctions and One-year only issue of taler of Johann Adolf, Imperial Prince of Schwarzenberg (1646-1683). Mintage unknown. Impressive and highly attractive example of scarce coin, featuring a remarkably detailed, medallic portrait of Johann Adolf I wearing elaborate armor and the Order of the Golden Fleece. The reverse presents a beautifully executed crowned coat of arms, displaying the distinctive Schwarzenberg heraldic ravens and surrounded by the ornate chain of the Golden Fleece. Both side exhibit rich, cabinet patina with dark-rainbow toning as well as subtle bronze and golden-brown highlights. Exceptionally RARE in MS with only single specimens in NGC/PCGS population! Great collectible and investment find!!
