Bi-metallic (centre in nickel brass - ring in cupro-nickel) - 8.5 g - 25.75 mm diameter - 2.20 mm thickness.

 “Europe will not be made all at once, or according to a single plan. It will be built through concrete achievements which first create a de facto solidarity.” This declaration by Robert Schuman on 9 May 1950, marks a major step towards the construction of a united Europe. Through the creation of the first supranational institution, the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), Europe embarked on an unprecedented process of peace and cooperation. This €2 commemorative coin celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration. 

Edge: Reeded and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, repeated six times alternating upright and inverted.
