2 Dollars SWEDISH CRUSADE History of the Crusades 1 Oz Silver Coin 2$ Niue 2026 Antique Finish

This exceptional 1 Oz Silver coin is part of the "History of the Crusades" series, a dramatic journey through faith, conquest, and medieval destiny. This edition evokes the First Swedish Crusade of 1150 and the figure of Saint Erik IX of Sweden. A king. A warrior. A saint wrapped in legend. Behind him, the battlefield erupts with movement, banners, shields, and the chaos of a sacred campaign. Struck in fine Silver with an Antique Finish, the coin carries the gravity of an ancient chronicle, carved in shadow and metal. The obverse continues the story with a procession of crusaders and the Public Seal of Niue, anchoring the piece in legal tender authority. The coin is sealed in a case with its Certificate of Authenticity. Only 499 pieces in the world. The reverse of this Silver coin captures the First Swedish Crusade through a powerful medieval scene. Saint Erik IX of Sweden stands to the left, solemn and crowned, draped in royal robes as battle unfolds behind him. Horses rise. Warriors clash. Standards cut through the air. The whole composition breathes the tension of faith, power, and legend. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: "FIRST SWEDISH CRUSADE 1150" - the historical event and year commemorated. At the bottom, the inscriptions: "SAINT" and "ERIK IX OF SWEDEN" - the central figure of the design. A cross appears near the lower edge, reinforcing the sacred and crusading theme. The obverse of the coin presents a line of crusaders in silhouette, armed with swords, shields, banners, and mounted figures. At the top of the obverse, the inscription: "HISTORY OF THE CRUSADES" - the name of the series. At the center bottom, the Public Seal of Niue appears as the issuing authority, surrounded by the inscriptions: "NIUE ISLAND" - the issuing country, "2026" - the year of issue, "2 $" - the face value, and "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER" - the weight and fineness of the Silver.
