Auf die Einweihung der Juli-Säule auf dem Place de la Bastille in Paris und auf das Fraternité Denkmal.

Widmung für die Kämpfer 1789 und der „Trois Glorieuses“ 1830 / Le Génie de la Liberté von der Spitze der Säule. „

Trois Glorieuses“ bezeichnet die drei Tage der Julirevolution 1830 (27., 28. und 29. 7.) in denen die Dynastie Orléans in Person

von Louis-Philippe I. („Roi des Français“) die Dynastie Bourbon mit Charles X. („Roi de France“) ablöst.

Von Louis Philippe 1833 in Auftrag gegeben wurde die Säule 1840 eingeweiht.

Die Figur auf der Spitze stellt den Geist der Freiheit dar. Sie stammt von Augustin-Alexandre Dumont.
